Discover what’s above 100th Avenue in Green Timbers! We’ll start from the Surrey Nature Centre parking lot and do a rough circle tour on the area added to the park in the 1990s.
Bring gloves if you’d like to help pick up litter along the way.
The complete trip should be about 3.5 miles (5 km) and be mostly on flat level gravel or paved paths. We may change the route depending on what people want to do. Meet at the Surrey Nature Centre parking lot (14335 Green Timbers Way, free) at 11 am. There is no need to register and there is no fee.
Sunday March 20: 96th and the erratic

We’ll do a rough rectangle, east along the multi-use pathway on 96th Avenue, then up the salal trail, west over to the erratic (a large boulder dropped by retreating glaciers) and then back down to where we started.
